A major credit card is required to hold on file for the rental. However, you can pay for your rental with credit, debit, or cash at checkout.

A $50 late fee will be charged for every 15 minutes past the scheduled return time.

According to the new DNR rule, as of July 1st, 2025, all renters must complete a 180 day permit or a life time permit in order to rent a watercraft in the state of Minnesota. However, there are exceptions. Please go to the DNR website for more information! 

Cancellations made more than 5-days before your rental date are free of charge. Cancellations made within the 5-day window will forfeit their reservation deposit (25% of the total). If no deposit was made, then a fee of 25% of the total will be charged to the card on file. 

There is a $500 damage deposit for jetski rentals. There is no damage deposit for the pontoons or bass trackers.

You must be 25 years old or older to rent with us! 

For safety, we do not allow the driver to consume alcohol while driving. Please plan to have a sober, designated driver responsible for operating the watercraft during your rental.

Weather-related cancellations are determined on the day of the reservation. Storms, heavy rain, or sustained winds exceeding 30 mph qualify for a weather-related cancellation. Overcast skies, light rain, or cooler temperatures do not qualify, and reservations will proceed as scheduled. Metro Lakes Marina will contact you the night before or the morning of your rental if a weather-related cancellation is necessary.

Yes! Pets are welcomed with a $45 pet fee.

For weekends/holidays, we recommend making a reservation 3-4 weeks ahead of time. Even earlier for the 4th of July! 

Weekdays can usually be scheduled the week of! Walk in's are always welcomed but cannot be guaranteed.
